05-Why do I get low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)?

Low blood sugar can happen if:

• You have taken too much insulin at once
• You have taken an extra insulin injection
• You have taken insulin as normal, but afterwards have not eaten enough food, or thrown up
• You have taken insulin as normal but have been more physically active than usual
